Willpower & Blood
Willpower regenerates at a rate of 1 point per evening on a character waking. Waking up requires the expenditure of 1 blood point. In exceptional circumstances, the “True to your Nature” rule may be adopted.

All characters begin play with a full blood pool determined by their generation maximum, -1 blood for waking up that evening.

Expenditure of blood points can be monitored by players but will be monitored by the storyteller. In the case of a character falling to 30% of their total blood pool, hunting will be required in order to prevent Frenzy.

Blood Pool Max - - - - Hunting Required On
10 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3
11 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3
12 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4
13 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4
14 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4
15 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 5

Disciplines
The use of disciplines should always be done with care. If needed, each player has a private forum of their own where they can perform dice rolls if they do not wish for their dice pools to become known. However, for the sake of expediency, the storyteller would prefer anything affecting a scene to be done within that scene.

Hunting & Feeding
When hunting, the dice pool is Perception plus any dots in the Herd Background. When feeding, the maximum that can be taken safely (i.e. allowing a mortal to still function without impedement) is two points of blood. The Storyteller assumes that the Vampire will cover up the signs of having fed, unless circumstances dictate otherwise, e.g. a Frenzy, or Flaw.

Appearing as Human A.K.A. "Blushing"
There are likely to be times when you would like your character to appear as "more Human", by giving them a pulse, allowing them to breathe, reactivate parts of their anatomy etc.

In these times, it is possible to do this by a simple vitae expenditure, using the following formula:

8-Current Humanity

For example, if a character had 6 Humanity and wished to "blush", they would need to expend 2 vitae.

This cannot be reduced below 1 vitae, regardless of the character's actual Humanity rating.
